Abstract

Background


The research study explores stress management interventions (SMIs) employed in the healthcare industry of Pakistan; with a focus on existing stressors and their relevant effectiveness.


Methodology


By employing systematic review, a thematic synthesis emerges on stress and SMIs implemented in healthcare organizations; after scrutinizing various databases systematically and relevant key themes and different perspectives.


Findings


Various stress factors and SMIs were highlighted; including organizational support, mindful practices, cognitive-behavioral approaches, etc. The effects of interventions varied among different settings of the healthcare industry. 


Conclusion


Thematic analysis delineates the significance of adopted SMIs by Pakistani healthcare staff and also emphasizes policy-making and organizational support in the industry.
